CityPlace: Master-Planned with You in Mind

As one of Toronto’s newest neighbourhoods, CityPlace is a master-planned community situated on 45 acres of land near Downtown Toronto. Formerly the Spadina Street Yard site, CityPlace is the culmination of years of planning and work. The result is a vibrant, exciting high-rise community close to all the exciting amenities that make Toronto one of the best cities to live in.

Currently consisting of over 30 towers–with more to come–CityPlace is an exceptional community for those looking to work and live downtown with a commute-free and maintenance-free lifestyle.

The Properties

If you’re looking for high-rise living, CityPlace delivers. As a master-planned community, CityPlace consists of over 30 mixed residential and commercial high-rise buildings. There are a few mid-rise buildings and a small number of townhomes in the area, but the main focus here is high rises.

Condo buildings here are modern and functional, with most units coming in at under 1000 square feet. Condo prices vary depending on the views, size, and finishings in the units, however, condos in CityPlace are generally more affordable than other neighbourhoods, ranging from the high $500,000s to $600,000s.

The most iconic CityPlace landmark is the Parade Towers, connected by a fantastic two-storey glass SkyBridge. Fun fact: The top storey of the SkyBridge consists of two luxury condo units, known for being the “highest residences on a bridge.”

The Neighbours

With its close amenities, easy condo living, and easy access to Toronto’s busy downtown core, CityPlace attracts young professionals–mostly singles or couples. There is also an even split in the neighbourhood between renters and buyers. Its affordability and convenience are appealing for individuals who wish to live in a one-stop shop where their work, convenience, and amenities are all close together. Residents here also value healthy living and outdoor activity. It’s common to see residents taking advantage of the local parks, out for a jog or cycling in their spare time.
