Living in Luxury
The posh neighbourhood of Rosedale was named after the wild roses that grew along the hillsides of this suburban area. What makes this area stand out is its gorgeous mansions and winding roads surrounded by lovely greenery. The picturesque historical homes built between 1860s and 1940s gives a serene dreamy vibe.
The Properties
Most of the beautiful historic houses of Rosedale are listed on the Toronto Historical Board’s Inventory of Heritage Properties. Many are built with the architectural styles if Edwardian, Victorian, Tudor and Georgian. Majority of them are grandeur homes that are single-family detached with massive beautiful manicured yards. Homes are amongst the most expensive in Toronto. There are some condominiums and co-ownership apartments that are available at South Rosedale.
The Neighbours
With a population of just over 8,000 residents, majority of the residents are upper-class families with children. These include Toronto’s wealthiest and most prominent citizens.
