A Timeline For Selling Your Condo

Selling

The best way to shake off the stress of selling your condo is to be prepared. Develop a solid plan that takes you from start to finish in the condo selling process. There are many stages you will have to navigate through, but it’s nothing a little organization can’t fix.

Selling Condo Steps:

Do your research: Find your real estate agent. A pro who has stellar reviews and confidence can take your listing to the next level. Spend a couple of months doing research to learn how much houses in your local area are selling for so you have a rough idea of what to ask for.

Make a plan: Your agent will help you set priorities and get things organized. One step at a time.  Make repairs/reno’s (if necessary): Ask your agent where your fix-it dollars will get you the biggest return on investment. Clean up: Part of the staging process is to remove excess things from your condo. If you don’t absolutely need it, store it somewhere until your unit sells. Clean & simple look best.

Set the stage: Make your condo look irresistible to potential buyers. Setting the stage will play a key part in home viewings. Setting the stage is important and should always reflect the target market.

List your home online: Now that your condo is in tip-top shape, it’s time to get that baby online! Aim to have your listing up on a Monday or Tuesday, that’s when listings tend to experience a spike in views. You want all eyes possible on your condo.

A lot of my clients have pets, kids and busy schedules but If you have an experienced agent working by your side, this should be a harmless process from list to sold. Keep in contact with your agent, keep your condo as clean as you can, and keep a positive attitude. Selling doesn’t have to be a hassle if you stay organized!
